The Aeneid is the story of Aeneas and his men as they flee from Troy, after it was ruined by the Greeks. Virgils uses nonliteral and descriptive language throughout this epic poem to cook different imageries. These imageries be seen in all throughout the fiction as Virgil goes into great detail. Many pages of The Aeneid are just imagination, with alone a couple sentences devoted to the floor. This imagery adds meaning to the text, hence letting the consultation better figure the narrative. The imagery of the challenger amongst the gods is a constant in the text, moving the narrative along. This aspiration between the gods looms over the narrative of The Aeneid so much that at times the story seems to be less about the actions of the humans characters than about the arguing and competitivene ss of the gods.
